Welcome
Evergreen High School, located on County Road 6, was first opened in 1968. A new high school building was opened in the Fall of 2001 and the former high school was extensively renovated to become a new middle school. Today E.H.S. serves 400 students in grades 9-12 and provides a comprehensive program of study for students preparing for either college, post high school technical training or vocational training at Four County Joint Vocational School. The building also houses the Board of Education and its facilities.
The staff, comprised of teachers, counselors, tutors and administrators, are fully dedicated to meeting the social, vocational and educational needs of each individual student. EHS offers many services for students with special needs as well as those considered gifted and talented. A special educational plan is developed for each of these students. EHS offers students many organizations and clubs outside of class to compliment an individual's studies and interests. EHS has a broad fine arts and music program. The school is also equipped with six Macintosh computer labs open to all students. A wide array of athletic programs at the freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels are offered to EHS students. EHS students are involved. They are supported by friends, parents, school administration, teachers and the community.
